Frantoio di Montalcino is located in the heart of Italy, in the picturesque Tuscan city of Montalcino. The mill was established over 75 years ago and was completely renovated in 2023, incorporating the latest technologies. Our production process combines the finest Italian traditions with state-of-the-art machinery.
Currently, Frantoio di Montalcino offers two exceptional lines of extra virgin olive oil: "Brunera" and "Colori di Toscana by Daniele Lepori - Blu Italiano," both delivering outstanding quality and flavor. Our flagship line, Brunera, has been recognized as Ultra Premium and has received multiple Gold Awards at prestigious international competitions including New York, London, Monte Carlo, Japan, Berlin, Milan, Canada, and more. We exclusively use 100% Italian olives cultivated by skilled local farmers, ensuring unparalleled authenticity.

EXTRA COLD EXTRACTION
Frantoio di Montalcino is the first olive mill in the world to implement the Extra Cold Extraction Method — a revolutionary innovation in the world of high-quality olive oils. This groundbreaking method was developed in collaboration with Oxford University and the University of Perugia, under the guidance of renowned professor Maurizio Servilli.
Extra Cold Extraction enables the olives to be crushed at temperatures below 0°C. This process helps preserve the highest possible concentration of the olive oil's most valuable health properties — polyphenols, antioxidants, and vitamin E. Thanks to this advanced method, our olive oils are among the healthiest in the world. In our Brunera line, you'll find up to 1,200 mg/kg of polyphenols, antioxidants, and vitamin E. In the “Colori di Toscana” line, levels exceed 800 mg/kg.
This special extra cold technology also ensures that both the flavor and the beneficial properties of the olive oil are preserved for a much longer time, delivering a product that is both delicious and exceptionally healthy.

From 2018 to 2024, Daniele's oils have been featured in this prestigious guide, which highlights the top 500 olive oils in the world — further affirming his status as a true olive oil virtuoso.
In 2021, Daniele Lepori was honored with the title of the Flos Olei “Best Medium Fruity” in the World. Daniele's excellence goes beyond the Flos Olei guide.
